UGREEN NAS App Center Listing FAQs
1. Why was my app listing request rejected for being “too simple in functionality”?
Apps must provide unique value or interactive experience different from mobile web pages. If your app is merely a simple web wrapper or a purely static display, it will normally be judged as non-compliant.
2. Why was my app classified as a “wrapper app” or “duplicate submission”?
If your app's content, UI, or code logic is highly similar to that of an already listed or previously submitted application, the platform will determine it as a duplicate or low-quality app. We recommend that you add differentiated features and redesign the UI layout.
3. Can I resubmit my app for review after my listing request is rejected?
Yes. You may address each issue based on the rejection reasons and state the rectification measures taken in the submission remarks.
4. What are the common reasons for listing request rejections?
Common issues include, but are not limited to, crashes or critical bugs, missing or non-compliant privacy policies, failure to meet minimum functionality requirements, suspected plagiarism, or inappropriate content. In addition, excessive permission requests and compatibility issues are also common.
5. Can I update the content of my app during the review period?
We generally do not allow changes to the content of the submitted version during the review. If adjustments are truly necessary, please withdraw the current review and resubmit a new version.
6. What are common reasons for failing the privacy policy review?
Common reasons include, but are not limited to: 1. The privacy policy link is inaccessible; 2. The privacy policy does not list all sensitive permissions actually requested by the app (e.g., location, camera); 3. Data is collected before obtaining consent (e.g., obtaining device identifiers immediately upon app startup).
7. Can I request an expedited review?
Expedited processing is generally not supported. Reviews are conducted on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that developers reasonably arrange release time and prepare complete materials in advance.
