List of Prohibited Apps

In accordance with applicable laws and regulations as well as the rules of the UGREEN NAS App Center, the UGREEN NAS App Center will review all apps submitted for listing in accordance with the law. Apps containing the following content are strictly prohibited from being listed on the platform.

I. Political Content ​

1. Apps that harm national sovereignty, unity, or territorial integrity;

2. Apps that endanger national security, divulge state secrets, or damage national image, honor, or interests;

3. Apps that incite subversion of political powerof thestate and overthrow of the socialist system, or incite secession and undermine national unity and social stability;

4. Apps that involve discrimination against any country, ethnicity, race, religion, gender, or age, stigmatize or ridicule specific countries, ethnicities, races or religions, or advocate and promote hatred toward any country, ethnicity, race, or religion;

5. Apps that distort, vilify, blaspheme,or deny the deeds and spirit of heroes and martyrs, or infringe upon the names, portraits, reputations and honors of heroes and martyrs by means of insult, slander or othermeans;

6. Apps that undermine national religious policies, promote cults, feudal superstitions or historical nihilism, contain inflammatory religious comments, or quote religious texts in an incorrect or misleading manner;

7. Apps that distort the history of the Communist Party of China, the history of the People's Republic of China, the history of reform and opening up, and the history of socialist development, or attack the Party’s leadership, guiding ideology, principles, and policies; and

8. Apps that deny the fine traditional Chinese culture, revolutionary culture, and advanced socialist culture.

II. Violent and Terrorist Content ​

1. Apps that spread rumors to disrupt social order and undermining social stability;

2. Apps that advocate terrorism or extremism, or incite the implementation of terrorist or extremist activities;

3. Apps that incite ethnic hatred or ethnic discrimination,and undermine ethnic unity;

4. Apps that incite group discrimination, regional discrimination or other forms of discrimination;

5. Apps that involve the sale of prohibited items such as guns, ammunition, drugs and controlled knives, contain descriptions encouraging the illegal or irresponsible use of weapons and dangerous articles, or promote the purchase of arms or ammunition;

6. Apps that contain content of illegally hunting, killing, or excessively eating precious and endangered wildlife protected by the state, or illegally purchasing, transporting, or selling precious and endangered wildlife under key state protection or their products;

7. Apps that organize trafficking of human organs;

8. Apps that advocate violent and terrorist ideologies, abet violent and terrorist activities, teach criminal skills for violent and terrorist acts, or disseminate violent and gory videos, images and other content; and

9. Debt collection apps.

III. Fraud-Related Content ​

1. Apps that involve pyramid schemes, fraud, gambling, and trafficking of prohibited items and controlled articles;

2. Apps that induce consumption;

3. Apps that involve online trading of resident identity cards, counterfeit currency, counterfeit invoices, and counterfeit certificates;

4. Apps that involve payment transaction fraud via counterfeit bank websites or payment and recharge fraud via counterfeit carrier websites;

5. Apps that illegally absorb funds through means such as online lending, equity investment, entrusted asset management, financial leasing, investment in “elderly care projects”, photovoltaic investment, equity crowdfunding, cloud planting, or cloud farming; and

6. Apps that provide online consumer loans to college students

IV. Obscene and Pornographic Content ​

1. Apps that contain sexual suggestions or sexual provocation that easily leads to sexual associations;

2. Apps that lure or introduce prostitution by others;

3. Apps that incite or instruct others to record nude videos or images, or engage in online sexual misconduct;

4. Apps that guide others to perform indecent postures, sexually suggestive actions, or dangerous acts;

5. Apps that involve online solicitation of prostitution; and

6. Apps that openly promote materials containing obscene or pornographic content, including one‑night stand dating apps and other apps that may contain pornographic content or be used for prostitution, human trafficking, or exploitation

V. Gambling ​

1. Apps that distribute illegal betting outlets or unauthorized gambling platforms;

2. Apps that promote gamblingandopportunism;

3. Apps that induce or deceive others into gambling; and

4. Apps that involve lottery sales, lottery information (drawing results and recommendation plans), lottery gameplay (e.g., scratch cards), or gambling assistance tools (e.g., card counting tools)

VI. Infringement ​

1. Apps that endanger the physical and mental health of others;

2. Apps that infringe upon the legitimate rights and interests of others through insult, slander, intimidation, invasion of privacy, or other means;

3. Apps that infringe upon others' legitimate and interests prohibited by laws and regulations, such asrights of reputation, honor, portrait, privacy, intellectual property, personal information rights;

4. Apps that contain content related to forging, altering, or trading resident ID cards, social security numbers, passports, diplomas, driver's licenses, or other official documents or seals of state authorities; and

5. Apps with illegal or non-compliant auxiliary covert filming functions, or that sell secretly recorded images or video content

VII. Undesirable Ideologies ​

1. Apps that depict bloody, horrifying, or cruel content causing physical or mental discomfort;

2. Apps that advocate vulgar, tacky or kitsch content;

3. Apps that promote ostentatious wealth worship, extravagant hedonism, or distorted aesthetics;

4. Apps that worship foreign things and fawn on foreign countries, or unreasonably belittle other countries, ethnic groups and foreign cultures;

5. Apps that may induce others to imitate unsafe behaviors and acts violating social morality, or encourage bad habits;

6. Apps that engage in cyberbullying such as personal attacks, insults, or verbal abuse against minors, or that use foul language that mislead minors;

7. Apps that organize or orchestrate hype;

8. Apps that advocate or promote prejudice, stereotypes, or negative views against specific professions or groups of people, or that disparage, insult, maliciously abuse, or stigmatize specific professional groups or specific populations;

9. Apps that promote extreme cognitive biases or content that does not conform to the core socialist values;

10. Apps that encourage suicide or self-harm;

11. Apps that provide storage, download, playback, sales, or communication platforms or channels for online cultural products;

12. Apps that spread false or harmful information, fabricate sensational stories, or use vulgar plots for clickbait or malicious marketing;

13. Apps that exploit recent or ongoing events (e.g., violent conflicts, terrorist attacks, pandemics) or attempt to profit from them; and

14. Apps that contain pornographic novels or comics created with minoras images, or that induce inappropriate social interactions with minors or incite negative emotions

VIII. Commercial Violations ​

1. Apps that infringe upon others’ intellectual property rights, violate business ethics, or disclose others' trade secrets;

2. Apps that are similar to or easily confused with existing UGREEN products, interfaces, apps or advertising themes in appearance;

3. Apps that engage in ghost followersor vote cheating apps;

4. Apps that involve real-world asset (RWA) tokens, blockchain virtual currencies, Bitcoin, stablecoins, “air coins”, or cryptocurrency mining;

5. Apps that are system tampering apps, game modifiers, plug-ins (including red envelope plug-ins), or cracking apps (with modification and cracking functions), including cracked apps, cheats/cheaters/game cracking tools, and third-party score-boostingassistants;

6. Apps that teach how to bypass anti-addiction systems; and

7. Apps that provide unauthorized game discounts, game distribution,welfare top-ups, or skin/entitlement trading

IX. Other Prohibited Content ​

1. Apps that provide false information or functions, including inaccurate device data or features intended for pranks or jokes, such as fake location trackers;and such apps shall not pass review even if marked “for entertainment only”;

2. Apps that involve the sale of personal information;

3. Apps that provide VPN services, overseas radio stations, or IP proxy (IP switching) functions;

4. Apps that involve overseas communication services (specifically phone calls and SMS that access mobile carrier networks, excluding internet calls and in-app messaging);

5. Apps that are chat apps providing sensitive features such as self-destructing messages, two-way chat record deletion, and unlimited-time message recall;

6. Apps that provide surrogacy consultation, gender selection, sperm or egg donation, illegal trading of sperm or eggs, or services and information that drive traffic to such activities;

7. Apps that contain illegal or non-compliant content of the “one-yuan lottery” or “one-yuan purchase”nature; and

8. Online money-making apps (online part-time apps).
